I AM...
I Am...
I am happy, I am confident, I am accepting of all that I am, I am healthy, I am abundance, I am deserving of all that I desire. These are some examples, of I am positive affirmations but there are millions!
I was listening to an I Am positive affirmation meditation video this morning and it got me thinking. How easy or difficult is it to change your mindset? I have tried to use positive affirmations when I remember a couple times a week. I am busy working and on my two days off I am stuck with errands, so it is hard to focus on myself. I always tell myself "Oh Ill do it tomorrow". I am sure many can identify with me. However, now You and I have the time to practice these positive I am affirmations! So I would like to challenge you to look into a mirror or even just randomly when your in the shower Start saying I am... You could even look up some affirmations that resonate well with you.
I keep thinking how much of what we were told or taught when we were little affects us in the long run. "Give me a child until he is 7 and I will show you the man" Aristotle once said according to Healthline parenthood. It has been said by many that the most crucial years of childhood are until the age of 7.
I believe this to be true. It is hard for me to say my life until and beyond seven was traumatic and negative. My mom reminded me every day of what I am. I am worthless, I am useless, I am nothing, I am bad. These words are hard to get rid of. Sometimes I hear them in my subconscious but most of the time is not hearing them at all and just "knowing" deep down. I believed it because I was told by my mom almost every day. It is what you believed all your life You Are. For those who can relate It is not your fault.
Id like to challenge myself more during this time of reflection. I believe it is absolutely possible to change your mindset. It may take time, work, and consistency but it is surely worth it! Investing time and energy on yourself is number one priority.
If this resonated with you I'd Like for you to try it yourself too! and just notice how these positive I Am affirmations that you are able to choose and tell yourself make you feel afterwards😊
